Privacy Policy.

Last updated: 14th October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Lenny Swipe Era collects, why, how it is kept safe, who it is shared with, and the rights you have over it, wherever you live. We have tried to keep it clear and honest. If anything is unclear, email lenny@lennyswipeera.com.

The short version

  • We collect what we need to sell you guides, book your sessions, run your account and online journal, and keep this website working.
  • Your journal answers are stored securely, and only you and Lenny can read them. Lenny reads them to check in on how you are doing and to support your sessions, and only after you have agreed to this.
  • We never sell your information or use it for advertising. We never share your journal with anyone else, except in an emergency where someone’s life or safety is at serious risk.
  • Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
  • You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your information at any time.

1. Who we are

Lenny Swipe Era is trading as Lenny Swipe Era (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

When you buy a guide

Your name, email address, billing address, what you bought and when. If you create an account, your login details (passwords are stored encrypted, and we can never see them). Card payments are processed by Stripe; we only receive confirmation of payment and the last four digits of the card.

When you book a session

Your name, email address, phone number, the session you booked, the date and time, and any notes you add when booking. Payments for sessions are processed by Stripe.

In your sessions

What you choose to share with Lenny in sessions may include information about your health, wellbeing, relationships and past experiences. Lenny may keep brief, private session notes to support your work together.

Your online journal

If you complete a guide online, the answers you write. See section 3, which explains this in detail.

When you contact us

Your name, contact details and whatever you include in your message.

3. Your online journal

Paid guides can be completed online. Because journal answers can be very personal, and may include information about your mental and physical health, we take extra care with them.

  • Where it is stored: securely in this website’s database, linked to your customer account, or to your order if you checked out as a guest. It is protected by encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and the hosting provider’s security (see section 10). Journal pages are hidden from search engines.
  • Who can read it: you and Lenny. No one else at Lenny Swipe Era, and no other customer, can see your answers. Website administrators are limited to Lenny only.
  • Why Lenny reads it: to check in on your wellbeing, to follow up with you where that may help, and to support your sessions if you have them.
  • Your agreement: before you can start writing, we ask you to tick a box agreeing that Lenny can read your journal for these purposes. We record when you agreed. This is your explicit consent, which is the legal basis we rely on for this health-related information.
  • It is not a crisis service: Lenny does not read entries as you write them and cannot guarantee when he will read them. If you are in danger or need urgent help, call 999 (or your local emergency number), or Samaritans free on 116 123, any time.
  • If we are seriously worried: if something you write makes Lenny believe that you, or someone else, are at risk of serious harm, he may contact you and, if he believes it is necessary to protect someone’s life or safety, share relevant information with emergency services. The law allows this to protect someone’s vital interests.
  • What we never do: we never sell your journal, use it for marketing or advertising, use it to train artificial intelligence, or share it with anyone else, except as described above or where the law requires it.
  • Deleting it: you can delete your answers at any time with the Delete my answers button at the end of each journal, or by emailing us. Entries are deleted automatically 3 years after you last write in them.
  • Withdrawing your agreement: you can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us. We will then stop reading and delete your journal answers. This does not affect anything Lenny did with them before you withdrew.

Some of our providers, including Automattic, Stripe and Google, store or access information outside the UK and European Economic Area, mainly in the United States.
